Phase 1 of the Sportster:
Where others see trash we see treasure. We wanted a cafe sporty on the cheap so we set about finding a crashed bike we could build as budget-minded as possible. We started with the bars or lack of them, by adding clip ons, removed all the junk on top of the triples, and prototyped a cool intrument cluster and headlight relocation piece that moves the headlight and gauges down. We also prototyped a key and coil relocation piece to get rid of all the plastic under the gas tank. We then threw on her all the RSD product we had, fixed the tank, chopped the rear fender and painted her on the cheap. For under 10K we brought her back to life and she's better than ever.

Really good work!!!!! Congratulations!!!!
who made the seat
superbe NIGHTSTER !!!!!!!!
how much is it ?
Roland, I really like ur style in clothing, nice helmets and jackets. Why u dont start putting those in ur cataloq and open new line of products.
That seat is a prototype that we're working on getting out into production very soon.
If you're lookin to get something right away I would recommend talking to Rich at Bitchin Seat company.
Thanks!
Great work once again! I'm hoping you put the coil relocator and speedo mount into production. You have any plans on doing that real soon?
Most parts are available now from your local dealer (Pipe, Fork Brace, Pegs, Ignition Cover, Shocks, Discs and Calipers). The Ignition/Coil mount and Velocity Stack will be in dealer's hands mid-year and Speedometer/Headlight mount and seat are still in development.
Wow,very nice Bike :-)
are you guys gonna make the judge wheels for this
beautiful bike !!!!!!
where can I find the bars ?????
(sorry for my bad english, I'm french........)
thanks for all !!!
I saw the new photos of this motorbike which have the new wheels and the new suspensions at your facebook. Could you let us know what kind of products they are? -Regards, YK
Cojonuda!!! la verdad es que sigues siendo el mejor. Las fotos, simplemente un 10, capturan todo el alma de la moto.
Holy crap!
I think I'm in love.... and the girl's not bad either!
Hi Roland,
Very great job,
Could you tell us the size of the front and rear wheels?
And the size of the shocks?14"?13?
Thanks!
Pim, french HD rider
•Yes the Judge wheels will fit!
•Those bars were prototyped
•The size of the wheels in these pictures are 19 in the front and 16 in the back. The shocks here are 13.5 but we ended up switching them with 14(pics will be shown soon, as we are working on the second phase of the bike)
Thanks for your answer
What about the driving position?
Will you install rearset commands in the future?
Yes the riding position is very comfortable. We have already prototyped the rearsets and they will be installed on the second stage of this sporty.
And what about your handlebars?one of your creation? 1" or more?
Pim: Yes we prototyped them here. They are 1"
Right as I saw this bike I instantly fell in love! I was originally looking to cafe out a cb750k but seeing this bike totally changed my mind. I'll keep checking back for parts updates because that istro cluster and bars make the bike. Congrats guys and I can't wait to see phase 2!
You guys did a fine job bringing back that old school Cafe bike look that is timeless. Good work!
I was wondering if you had a rough idea what the pricing of the cafe seat is going to be?
Probably $300-400
Roland,
do you think an acebar (or clubman) handlebar, will be better for the driving position?
And for the look?
There are lots of clubman bars available out there that will work but we wanted to do something a bit different by using clip-ons with a 1” bar to accept OEM Harley controls.
Roland,
what are the differences between the black anodized moto foot peg (part number 1620-0520) and the black anodized 45° male mount (1620-0725)
Do you have a picture to allow me to understand?
Straight male mount pegs are used on all HD models, including Sportster and Dyna passenger peg applications while the 45 degree male mount pegs are used on all Sportster and Dyna driver peg applications. There is no price difference.
I was wondering if you have any progress updates on any of the prototyped parts? Specifically the seat and speedo/headlight mount.
Sorry no new info. Both are in process and may take a little bit of time. We will let everyone know as soon as we know when they will be released.
Love the speedo/headlight relocation kit! Any word on production? Great work!
I love the bike. I NEED THE PARTS!!! I have a 2008 Nightster Can you post some newer pics? I was looking at the removal of the belt driver cover and it looks like you moded the cover in front of it too. What did you do to it?
We removed the front sprocket cover completely and modified the cam cover. We grinded off the lower and back section of it to expose the oil pump that hangs below the motor. If you remove your stock cam cover and look at the back, you will see the area that can be cut away. Basically the area outside of the bolt pattern can be removed since it does not seal the cam area.
I'll work on getting some newer pics up!
Hi!
Absolutely awesome bike!
I'm building my own.. Is it possible to mount the tracker exhaust on a 883R 2003?
Looking forward to be able to buy the seat.
Don't bother looking for the seat at Bitchin Seat company. They want $1200.00 for it. That is nuts!!! Roland save us with a more affordable version!!!
